HRH the Deputy King meets with the Chairman of Singapore Gulf Bank

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met today with the Chairman of Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB), Edmund Lee, at Gudaibiya Palace.

HRH the Deputy King emphasised the growth of the Kingdom’s economic sector, driven by a robust legislative and regulatory framework and the talent of its Bahraini workforce. These strengths continue to boost banking and financial investments while creating job opportunities for citizens, all in alignment with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness affirmed the vital role of financial and banking institutions in driving growth across the Kingdom’s economic sectors and strengthening the overall economy.

HRH the Deputy King highlighted the Kingdom’s advanced digital infrastructure, which meets the highest international standards, and stressed the importance of further enhancing it to align with the Kingdom’s sustainable development needs.

His Royal Highness emphasised that the launch of SGB’s banking services in the Kingdom of Bahrain will further accelerate the Kingdom’s digital transformation within the banking sector.

For his part, Lee expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s dedication to advancing the digital transformation of the banking and financial sector, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
